Suzanne Zook-Johnston is a Registered Psychotherapist who has advanced training in teaching skills to create the relationships you want to achieve.
Suzanne recognizes that healthy relationships are interconnected, interrelated, and interdependent. She understands that all relationships affect our physical and emotional health, our wellbeing, and the level of contentment and satisfaction in our lives. When relationships are troubled, there’s impact on our children and families, and often our financial life is not as stable and our social networks within our community suffer. The NRHC is here to help.
I am committed to helping couples of all ages and stages be the best that they can be and function in the centre of relationship health. My goal is to help people thrive in their closest relationships, with each other and within their community.
Suzanne uses the latest neuroscience research and the most current models of couple therapy including relational therapeutic techniques developed by Terry Real “The New Rules of Marriage,” John Gottman’s “The Seven Principles of Highly Effective Marriages” and Sue Johnson’s “Hold Me Tight” to create specific treatment plans for each and every couple and teach couples healthy skills for relating. Whether you are a couple who wants to be closer and more connected and intimate, a couple in conflict, or a couple who is separating and wanting to retain a beneficial co-parenting relationship, I can help you get there.
